We are all feeling the loss of Heather Boxer's presence and leadership.  These have been a difficult few months for us but Heather left a strong team and clear legacy to steer our work. Her empathy, professionalism, and hard work have been woven into the fabric of everything we do.

On the 1st February, the Hammersmith Club hosted its second evening of Scottish dancing and delicious curry, all to raise funds to support WLAC’s work and raised £6,346.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Heather Boxer, Chief Executive of WLAC, passed away on 12th January 2025. 

A huge THANK YOU to everyone that supported this year’s Quiz.  The money raised will go directly to support the lives of local children and families. 

Mighty Me supports children in years 4-6 (aged 8-11 years old) to recognise and appreciate their Mighty qualities, challenge negative self-talk, and increase self-confidence.
