A Special Evening of Music by Caterina Grewe, Steinway Artist
We were thrilled that Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School (RPPS) in Hammersmith organised and hosted this special evening to raise funds for West London Action for Children. Caterina Grewe, the Steinway Artist and Professor at The Royal College of Music, gave a masterful rendition of works by Schubert, Schumann and Medtner for WLAC supporters.
Caterina is a German-Japanese Pianist who was born in Tokyo and has performed to critical acclaim throughout the UK, continental Europe and Asia as a Steinway Artist (a program handled by Steinway’s very own Concert and Artist Department).
Caterina studied at the Hamburg Conservatory and completed her studies at the Royal College of Music in 2013. During her time Caterina won major prizes including First Prizes at the Kendal Taylor Beethoven Piano Competition, the annual RCM Beethoven Piano Competition and the Concerto Competition and was appointed Piano Professor in 2019. She was also awarded the HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Rose Bowl by the former Prince of Wales (now King Charles III) for her outstanding achievements during her studies.
