Quiz raises £10,465 for WLAC!

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that supported this year’s annual WLAC Quiz.  We are thrilled to announce that the event raised a magnificent amount of £10,465 for our work, which will go directly to support the lives of local children and families.  A fantastic result! As well as the quiz, the audience enjoyed Last Man Standing and a talk about our work by Susanne Frieze, which included a short case study highlighting the work we do and how therapy can help local families. 

We are extremely grateful to the Brook Green Events Committee for their faultless organisation and support, and giving us all such a fantastic evening, whilst raising such a marvellous sum in the process.  We would also like to thank Sarah Fletcher, High Mistress of St Paul’s Girls’ School together with the IT Department and caretakers, for kindly offering to host the event; Finlay Brewer Estate Agents for sponsoring the event, and providing the wine and the prizes, as well as working tirelessly to help organise and promote our events; the table hosts for organising guests; our fabulous Quizmaster, Anthony Swift, who teased and tickled our brains with such clever questions; and last, but not least, everyone who attended, and donated so generously.
