A message from our Chair of Trustees, Meg Kaufman

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Boxer, Chief Executive of West London Action for Children, on 12th January 2025. 

Passionately dedicated to supporting local families, Heather was a beacon of light in the charity sector who worked tirelessly for children, young people and families in West London.

Having joined the organisation as a volunteer in the 1980s, she served as Chief Executive for over fifteen years, providing a welcoming and non-judgemental therapeutic space for those who needed it most. Heather's huge contribution to West London Action for Children, as a kind, compassionate and inclusive leader, who achieved so much for so many, leaves a legacy that will shape the charity for years to come. She will be sorely missed. 

Our thoughts are with Heather's family and friends at this sad time.
