School-based counselling
“I feel more positive and have become confident in lifes challenges.”
What is School-based counselling?
Therapy is delivered by one of our fully-qualified psychotherapists and takes place at the child's school or sometimes over the telephone.
What to expect
You will be referred by your school and will have an initial consultation with the therapist where you will discuss what you want to work on.
Each session lasts just under an hour.
The work continues until you feel ready to end the sessions, but generally our clients tell us they have experienced positive changes within 10 sessions.
Benefits
Improvements in:

self-esteem and self-confidence
