The power of networks

We are absolutely delighted to have received a donation of £2,000 from CRF (Corporate Research Forum).

CRF is a powerful network of over 200 member organisations and undertakes research, holds events and offers training in all aspects of organisational performance.

How did CRF find out about WLAC?

Well, Gillian Pillans is CRF’s Research Director. And Gillian is also a member of Chiswick Baroque, a 5 voice a cappella singing group directed by local composer Celia Harper…

Many of you will know that Chiswick Baroque have kindly supported WLAC for many years with fundraising concerts in West London venues.

So through her singing with Chiswick Baroque, Gillian is part of our supporter network and she thoughtfully proposed WLAC to CRF as a candidate for a corporate charitable donation…. and CRF have generously donated £2,000.

This is another example of the incredible power of networks :)

Huge thanks to Gillian and all the team at CRF!
