WLAC Annual Quiz raises over £10,000!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for this year’s annual WLAC Quiz.  We are thrilled to announce that the event raised a record-breaking £10,024 for WLAC, which will go directly to support the lives of local children and families.  What a magnificent result!

Our enormous thanks go to the Brook Green Events Committee for their faultless organisation in giving us all such a fantastic evening, and raising such a magnificent sum in the process. 

We would also like to thank: St Paul’s Girls’ School for hosting us in the Great Hall; Finlay Brewer for sponsoring all the costs of the event; the table hosts for organising tables; our fabulous Quizmaster, Anthony Swift, who teased and tickled our brains with such clever questions; and to everyone who attended, and donated so generously.

Finally our congratulations go to the well-deserving winners after a closely-fought evening - the Quizanthemums!
