Living Advent Calendar lights up Brook Green

In December 2023 the Brook Green Events Group, jointly with the Friends of Brook Green, organised this year’s Living Advent Calendar in the local area.  Around thirty houses, shops, schools and businesses came together to light up their windows, to create a ‘living advent calendar trail’ around the neighbourhood.  

One window was ‘opened’ each day from the 1st December, and by Christmas Eve the whole trail was lit up between 6-8pm each night. Families from near and far came to enjoy the ingenuity and creativity of all the beautiful windows. This much-loved project added a very special touch to the Christmas advent period in Brook Green and raised awareness for WLAC.
